About The Position

This is a 2nd shift position, working 4 10-hour shifts from Monday through Thursday, 3:00 PM to 1:00 AM. The Machine Operator will be responsible for understanding and following Malco's Quality and Safety rules and policies, as well as all company policies outlined in the Malco Hourly Employee Handbook. The role requires the ability to follow procedures and work instructions, complete required paperwork and quality checks accurately and on time, and use Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as needed. Responsibilities also include assisting in changeovers, washouts, and minor adjustments, performing related duties as assigned by supervision, executing cycle counts, and working overtime as needed. Maintaining a neat and clean work area is also essential.

Requirements

  • Must be able to work 4 10-hour work days; work any overtime as needed for successful operation of the plant.
  • Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
  • Must be able to pass any required testing (math test / personnel test).
  • Must be capable of following verbal and written instructions.
  • Must have and must maintain a good attendance record.
  • Must have good reading and writing skills. Must be able to write legibly.
  • Must be able to execute basic math problems.
  • Must be able to effectively communicate and work with others.
  • Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – safety glasses / eye protection (required), hearing protection (optional), dust mask (optional).
  • Must be able to bend, lift, and twist as part of the normal job functions.
  • Some repetitive lifting and motion required.

  • Work overtime as needed.
  • Maintain a neat and clean work area.
