About The Position

This is a 2nd shift position operating machinery. The role requires adherence to Malco's Quality and Safety rules, company policies, and work instructions. Responsibilities include accurate and timely completion of paperwork and quality checks, proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), assisting with changeovers and minor adjustments, performing cycle counts, and maintaining a clean work area. Overtime may be required.

Requirements

Must be able to work 4 10-hour work days.
Must be able to work any overtime as needed for successful operation of the plant.
Must be able to lift a minimum of 30 pounds.
Must be able to pass any required testing (math test / personnel test).
Must be capable of following verbal and written instructions.
Must have and must maintain a good attendance record.
Must have good reading and writing skills.
Must be able to write legibly.
Must be able to execute basic math problems.
Must be able to effectively communicate and work with others.
Wear required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) – safety glasses / eye protection (required), hearing protection (optional), dust mask (optional).
Must be able to bend, lift, and twist as part of the normal job functions.
Some repetitive lifting and motion required.

Responsibilities

Understand and follow Malco’s Quality and Safety rules / policies.
Understand and follow all company policies in the Malco Hourly Employee Handbook.
Able to follow procedures and work instructions as applicable to the job function.
Complete all required paperwork and quality checks accurately and on time.
Uses Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required including gloves, safety glasses, goggles, or face shield.
Assist in changeovers, washouts, and minor adjustments applicable to the assigned work area.
Perform related duties as assigned by supervision.
Performs cycle counts as assigned.
Work overtime as needed.
Maintain a neat and clean work area.
