About The Position

Join the Parallel Employment team as a Machine Operator! We're looking for motivated individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy being part of a supportive team environment. In this role, you'll be operating machinery to help produce quality products efficiently and safely among other duties such as assembly and soldering. Blueprint reading is a plus! As an Operator, your day-to-day tasks will include monitoring equipment, assembly, soldering, performing quality checks, and ensuring materials are handled properly. Your attention to detail and commitment to safety will help keep operations running smoothly.

Requirements

• Recent 2 year manufacturing experience
• Soldering Experience
• Must be able to pass solder class
• Must be able to read, write and understand English
• Ability to recognize solder defects per customer requirements & IPC standards
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand/walk for an entire shift (10 hours)
• Good communication skills
• A positive attitude
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic
• Willingness to learn and work in a team environment

Nice To Haves

• Blueprint reading is a plus
• Prior experience in machine operation or manufacturing is a plus

Responsibilities

• Operating machinery to help produce quality products efficiently and safely
• Assembly

• Monitoring equipment
• Performing quality checks
• Ensuring materials are handled properly
• Complete paperwork daily in a timely manner and enter into the computer
• Clean pallets (scrape coating off, work with xylene)
• Perform general maintenance on equipment (clean inside and outside of coater)
• Become proficient at various stations on automated lines after one week
• Comprehend, translate, and verify process through electronic system
