Machine Operator $21.59/hr Monday-Thursday 10 hr shifts
About The Position
As a Machine Operator, you’ll be part of our team located in Jackson, TN. You’ll get to operate blade manufacturing equipment, including start-up and shutdown, re-starts after stoppages, and problem-solving equipment processing issues. You will also operate and monitor high temperature furnaces, tempering furnaces, endothermic gas generator, and other Heat Treat related equipment. Safely operate and move heavy loads on overhead crane system, along with mobile equipment. Perform cleaning, basic PM, minor changeovers, and adjustments of die set and applicable tooling. Perform necessary quality checks of product including the effective use of calipers, micrometers, indicators, functional gauges, and other measuring equipment. Perform operator PM of machinery including required lubrication & maintaining proper oil and coolant levels. Maintain and operate multiple machines at a time. Complete any and all necessary forms and paperwork.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Machine operator experience
- Capable of following written and verbal instructions
- Comfortable working in a standing job for continuous periods of 8-10 hours and lifting and moving parts containers weighing up to 40 lbs
