About The Position
We are seeking a Machine Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for operating machinery to ensure product is produced to customer requirements. You will work to maintain optimal machine speed without compromising safety or quality, and verify product and work standards. This position also involves participating in continuous improvement activities, working collaboratively in a team environment, and receiving training to advance your career.
Requirements
- Ability to lift and carry 20 to 50 pounds
- Ability to stand for the entire duration of your shift
- Must be able to achieve productivity rates
- Attention to detail, good communication skills, and comfortable with computer applications
- Ability to use a ruler properly
- Ability to work in teams or alone, ability to motivate other team members
Nice To Haves
- Previous machine experience preferred
- Cross-training provided
Responsibilities
- Operate the machine and leads the overall product outcome associated with machine
- Ensure that product is produced to customer requirements
- Ensure that machines are running at the best possible speed while not sacrificing safety or quality
- Verify and communicates both product standards and work standards to execute production
- Participate in Continuous Improvement activities that improve the work centers performance
- Work in a team environment and cross-train with others
- Receive training to help advance your career
