About The Position

This position involves operating machines for the production of various products. Key responsibilities include preparing machines by tooling and parametrization, controlling production processes, checking production status, and performing quality checks on finished parts. The role also entails supporting maintenance with inspections and repairs. Training will be provided on the 1st shift, after which the employee will transition to the 2nd shift. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions write clear communication in English.
  • Ability to operate complex machinery in a manufacturing environment.
  • Good visual acuity.
  • Basic computer software skills.
  • Ability to lift medium-heavy objects if required.
  • Physical ability to carry out repetitive tasks safely and efficiently
  • Ability to read blueprints
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the US without employment visa or other sponsorship.
  • This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Two plus years' experience operating grinding machines
  • Experience setting up machines or the equivalent formal technical education.
  • Experience running machines.

Responsibilities

  • Operate machines for production of various products, as assigned.
  • Prepare machines for the production program, by tooling and parametrization according to work order.
  • Perform operations while controlling machine/production processes.
  • Check production status within and in between each production sequence and take action in case of deviations.
  • Check finished parts/component, perform specific checks or functionality tests.
  • Support maintenance in regular inspections and repair measures.
