About The Position

This position is for a 3rd Shift Machine Operator responsible for setting up and operating various machine tools to produce precision parts. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Formal training in machining is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Setting up and operating machine tools like lathes, milling machines, grinders, and CNC machines to produce precision parts.
• Interpreting technical drawings and specifications, selecting appropriate tools and parameters, and monitoring machine operation to ensure quality and productivity.
• Performing quality control using precision measuring tools.
• Performing routine maintenance and minor repairs.
• Documenting processes and production data.
• Maintaining a clean and safe work area.
• Collaborating with engineers to optimize manufacturing.
• Troubleshooting production issues.
• Demonstrating the ability to run master’s and/or run rabbits.
• Resetting errors and performing machine offsets.
