Requirements

  • Must be able to accurately read measurements in millimeters using precision tools (calipers, micrometers, and tape measures).
  • Must be able to read and interpret basic mechanical drawings and blueprints.
  • Must complete and maintain quality documentation and inspection records for machined parts.
  • Must demonstrate the ability to quickly learn CNC machining processes, including operation of HAAS equipment.
  • Must be able to be trained on overhead crane operation for safe material handling.
  • Ability to perform basic shop and machining-related tasks, including part handling and preparation.
  • Ability to perform basic reading, writing, measuring, and math functions related to machining (tolerances, offsets, dimensions).
  • Must be able to stand for 8 to 10 hours per day and lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Ability to safely use basic shop tools for part finishing and quality tasks (deburring tools, drills, grinders, etc.).

Nice To Haves

  • Programming experience would be a plus.
