Machine Operator – Excavation & Landscape Construction
About The Position
Markstone Landscaping is looking for a full-time Machine Operator to join their growing excavation team. This role will involve working on the excavation of swimming pools and various residential landscape construction projects throughout the Greater Toronto Area (GTA). As an integral part of the excavation and construction crews, the Machine Operator will operate equipment to support pool installations and landscape construction projects. Responsibilities include pool excavation, grading, trenching, site preparation, material handling, and assisting with various construction activities. The role requires close collaboration with crew members to ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to high standards.
Requirements
- Experience operating excavators and other heavy equipment
- Valid G Driver's License
- Strong work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work safely in a fast-paced outdoor environment
- Excellent teamwork and communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to quality workmanship
