About The Position

Operate multiple machines while maintaining a safe work environment and meeting all production and quality standards.

Requirements

• At least six months of operator experience is required.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
• Adequate English skills as well as basic math skills are required.
• Minor machine troubleshooting/repair.
• Constant standing, walking, and carrying product.
• Ability to lift up to 25 pounds.

Nice To Haves

• Ability to run up to, but not limited to, three machines at one time.

Responsibilities

• Operate multiple machines simultaneously, maintaining a constant pace of filling product between machines.
• Clean all machines as required by department procedures.
• Perform all necessary quality checks.
• Complete all necessary paperwork and required documentation.
• Assist other positions within the department as needed.
• Follow all safety, machine rules, and procedures.
• Sort out all defective products before packing.
• Assure the correct product code/labels are on the box.
• Correctly pack the product into the proper packaging per the Dispo. Tape boxes neatly and securely.
• Place boxes on the proper skid with the correct amount of cases per layer and per skid.
• Wrap all completed skids.
• Maintain required levels of raw materials at all times for up to eight machines.
• Set up all the supplies needed to begin production.
• Remove all trash, corrugated, and recycle from the designated section.
• Keep area safe and clean by assisting with sweeping of the designated section.
• Communicate to Lead of any quality or sealer problems.
• Complete all special projects and/or assignments as directed by the lead or supervisor.
• Other duties as assigned.
