The Warper Operator safely produces section sets of warps. The operator consults the warper yardage chart to determine the yardage and number of section beams needed for each style, width, and pattern. After the creel is hung, the operator adds, cuts, and blends in ends, threads the eye board, pulls over, and starts the new creel. The role includes performing tension checks, checking section-beam hardness, and selecting swing combs as needed based on end count. The operator records warper data and daily production using warper downtime codes; cleans section beams and the warper; and follows the TPM cleaning and audit schedule. Duties also include doffing the warper and helping hang the new creel. The operator communicates with production planning and creelers, must be knowledgeable about creeler duties, and maintains records according to ISO AS9100 standards. Other duties may be assigned.
