About The Position

WEG is one of the largest electric machine manufacturers in the world, with rapidly expanding U.S. operations. We are seeking dedicated individuals to join our team and contribute to our ambitious growth plans. This role is for an experienced production operator with mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a desire for a serious career opportunity. The Machine Operator will perform a range of tasks in the production of transformers, including reading and understanding Bills of Materials, instructions, and drawings, operating a machine that makes coils for transformers, and using a brazing torch to splice wire, while meeting quality requirements.

Requirements

  • Ability to work within the WEG Code of Ethics & Values.
  • Able to work over-time as needed.
  • Resides or plans to reside within reasonable commuting distance--no relocation assistance available.
  • Has current work authorization for employment in the United States.
  • Must complete: talent assessment, Job interview, pre-employment drug screen and background check.
  • Safety Sensitive position: Drug panel includes THC.

Nice To Haves

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent.
  • Two years prior manufacturing experience.
  • ACT WorkKeys National Career Readiness Certification (NCRC): Platinum or Gold Level.

Responsibilities
