About The Position
Clean Tech is seeking a dedicated Machine Operator to join their team in Dundee, MI. This is a direct hire, permanent placement position offering stability and opportunities for advancement. As an Operator, you will be responsible for monitoring and operating plastic recycling equipment, maintaining processes and equipment, and ensuring the production of high-quality post-consumer plastic resin. The role involves feeding lines with raw materials, operating a forklift, and adhering to 5S standards for area maintenance. Clean Tech has been a part of the community for over 30 years and promotes from within, fostering employee growth.
Requirements
- Experience in similar environments
- Ability to stand, walk, and use ladders and stairs throughout the shift
Nice To Haves
- Forklift experience a huge plus
Responsibilities
- Monitor & operate plastic recycling equipment in a safe manner
- Maintain processes and equipment, including basic maintenance and equipment troubleshooting
- Lead process change overs, quality checks, and production tracking activities
- Feed lines with top-quality raw materials to produce top-quality post-consumer plastic resin
- Operate forklift to move materials as needed
- Maintain area to adhere to 5S standards
- Other duties as assigned
