About The Position

Minneapolis Glass Company in Brooklyn Park, MN is looking to hire a full-time Machine Operator on first shift to join our Glass Fabrication Team. This position involves operating machines that manufacture glass products, requiring a high level of physical activity and hands-on work. Responsibilities include using machinery to cut, edge, or polish glass, performing basic equipment setup and maintenance, and ensuring timely and accurate production according to standard operating processes and software. The role emphasizes attention to detail, accuracy, and contributing to continuous improvement.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
3 years of experience operating production machines or manufacturing work
Strong mechanical aptitude to work with tools and trouble shoot issues with equipment
Physically capable of performing the work, with ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted and stand for 8 hours a day
Excel in a team environment
Mechanically inclined
Accountable and willing to take the initiative to solve problems
Eager to learn, organized, and self-motivated

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of glass fabrication strongly preferred
