About The Position
Leonhardt Manufacturing is seeking Machine Operators for temp-to-hire opportunities on both 1st and 2nd shift. These positions support increased production demand and offer the potential for permanent employment based on performance, attendance, and business needs. Machine Operators are responsible for operating production equipment used to form, bend, cut, and shape metal components while maintaining quality, productivity, and safety standards.
Requirements
- Previous manufacturing experience required
- Dependable attendance and work ethic
- Ability to follow established procedures and safety requirements
Nice To Haves
- CNC or machine operating experience preferred
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Ability to meet productivity expectations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Operate manufacturing equipment according to work instructions and production requirements
- Observe machine operation and verify conformance of parts using the In Process Check Sheet (Green Sheet)
- Perform quality inspections throughout production runs
- Monitor quality alerts and production requirements in assigned work areas
- Follow production control boards for run quantities and scheduling priorities
- Recognize and make minor machine or program adjustments to improve part fitment or appearance
- Complete daily machine safety and mechanical checks
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Support team production and quality goals
