About The Position
Join Manitowoc Pattern & Machining (MP&M) Anyone can run a machine. We're looking for people who take pride in the quality of their work. As a Machine Operator, you'll work with advanced CNC equipment to produce precision-machined components in a clean, modern manufacturing environment. Schedule: Friday - Sunday 5:00 AM - 5:00 PM Work just 3 days per week 36 hours worked, paid for 40 hours
Requirements
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- Ability to hear and recognize normal and abnormal machine sounds
- Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Nice To Haves
- Manufacturing experience is helpful but not required. We provide training.
Responsibilities
- Operating CNC machinery safely and efficiently
- Loading and unloading materials and parts
- Reading and following work instructions
- Using precision measuring tools to verify part quality
- Identifying and reporting quality or production concerns
- Maintaining accurate production records
- Using basic shop tools and material-handling equipment
- Communicating effectively with supervisors and team members
- Contributing to a safe, productive, and team-oriented work environment
