About The Position

This position starts as a General Helper with an initial pay rate of $20.81/hr during the probationary period. Upon qualification, the role advances to Machine Operator with a pay rate of $21.76/hr, potentially increasing up to $30.32/hr. This is a full-time, hourly position operating on Monday-Friday schedules, with options for 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:00pm) or 3rd Shift (11:00pm-7:00am). The role is located at the Thorofare Retail facility at 33 Phoenix Drive, Thorofare, NJ 08012.

Requirements

1 year of hands-on Industrial Plant manufacturing experience
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
The ability to accurately read a tape measurer and ruler
The ability to use basic shop math
The ability to learn; and the ability to follow instructions, ask questions, and work effectively as a member of a team

Nice To Haves

Corrugated industry experience preferred

Responsibilities

Safely run machines and follow all safety rules and practices at all times
Count and stack finished product
Learn customer requirements and specifications by reading factory work orders, print cards, and design specifications
Utilize basic shop math
Accurately read tape measures, gauges and other test equipment
Coordinate activities with other machine crew members to efficiently set up and run orders
Maintain quality and production standards as required by the company
Continually monitor the quality and quantity of production
Maintain housekeeping continually during the assigned shift
Perform quality inspections and tests, and record findings
Perform other duties as assigned by supervision
