About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson Policies and procedures. This position is responsible for maintaining the workflow by following standard operating procedures designed to effectively operate a 4-million dollar blasting unit. This position requires the use of a hand-held scanner for temperature recording during the In/Out blast process and throughout the day to successfully complete the required tasks. Must have the ability to multi-task in order to perform Put Up, De Slat, log blast times into the computer, complete QFR daily paperwork, and ensure documentation accuracy. This position also requires coordinating or leading other crew members at times to achieve daily goals. Additional tasks include receiving blast product, left line export management, ensuring zones are loaded correctly, and start/stop zone times. Must communicate effectively with all levels of management and hourly team members. Computer skills are a must have.

Requirements

  • Must have LESS than 7 attendance points.
