About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson Policies and procedures.

Requirements

Must have 1 year of forklift driving experience.
Prior Tyson workers must complete a 365-day rehire wait period before being considered for the role.
Prior Tyson workers will not be considered for the position after having worked 3 times or more for Tyson Foods.
Computer skills are a must have.
Must be willing and able to perform the physical requirements of the job with or without a reasonable accommodation.

Nice To Haves

Ability to multi-task in order to perform Put Up, De Slat, log blast times into the computer, complete QFR daily paperwork, ensure documentation accuracy.

Responsibilities

Maintaining the workflow by following standard operating procedures designed to effectively operate a 4-million dollar blasting unit.
Using a hand-held scanner for temperature recording during the In/Out blast process and throughout the day to successfully complete the required tasks.
Performing Put Up, De Slat, logging blast times into the computer, completing QFR daily paperwork, and ensuring documentation accuracy.
Coordinating or leading other crew members at times to achieve daily goals.
Receiving blast product, left line export management, ensuring zones are loaded correctly, and start/stop zone times.
Communicating effectively with all levels of management and hourly team members.
