About The Position
Conagra Brands in Indianapolis is seeking to expand its production team to meet national customer demand. The Machine Operator will work onsite at the Indianapolis, IN manufacturing plant on West 62nd St. and report to the production team lead. This role involves safely operating equipment to produce quality product, cleaning equipment, and supporting packaging and process areas.
Requirements
- Desire to work in food manufacturing environment.
- Availability to work overtime; typically 4 hours before or after a shift.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate, perform preventative maintenance, and perform corrective maintenance on plant machinery to exceed planned performance measures.
- Perform quality checks as specified in procedures.
- Partner with the line lead to determine opportunities for cross training.
- Follow all training documents for job on assigned line.
- Participate in cleaning processes.
- Communicate with line lead and maintenance to ensure issues with assigned equipment are fixed promptly.
- Follow and comply with all Safe Quality Food (SQF) and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's).
- All other tasks or projects as assigned by the shift supervisor or the operations manager.
