About The Position

Ultradent, the global name in oral health, is seeking for a Machine Operator In the day Shift (MTWTH 5:15 AM- 3:45PM). This position maintains production on a daily basis inside a clean room environment. The role involves accurate documentation of manufacturing processes, both hand-written and electronic. The operator will set up, operate, and clean machine(s) under minimum supervision, and learn to operate a variety of machinery effectively. They will work with a team to accomplish department objectives, maintain 5s condition in their area, and load/empty parts from machines, inspecting for quality and packaging product. A focus on following GMPs and SOPs is essential, along with communicating with supervisors and technicians when quality issues arise. The operator will make necessary adjustments to machinery and meet daily production schedules and quality standards by following work and safety instructions. This includes visually inspecting component parts to ensure compliance with current quality standard documentation and working safely to prevent on-the-job injuries by following safety procedures and observing potentially hazardous situations.

Requirements

Candidates should have experience with filling/packaging of products
Candidates must have machine operating experience
Must be able to monitor QC of product for visual defects
Must be able to lift 40 pounds from floor level to above head
Must be able to carry 80 pounds
Ability to read, write and communicate effectively in English
Technical mindset
Must be willing to work all machines as assigned
Must have knowledge of basic math skills

Nice To Haves

High School diploma or equivalent is preferred
Experience or understanding in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, TPM, SMED, TOC) a plus

Responsibilities
