Inside the Role As part of the Gastonia Parts Plant team, you are responsible for manufacturing parts. The candidate for this position will have a passion for process improvements, a keen eye to detail, and love numbers. Requirements
- High school diploma (or equivalent)
- An attached resume
- Career Readiness bronze or 3 years’ experience
- The ability to perform all essential functions of the job
- Ability to work in a heavy manufacturing environment that requires the ability to lift, pull and push moderate to heavy equipment, tools and parts
- Ability to work any shift
Responsibilities
- Operate Saws, Benders, Drilling Machines, Punching Machines, Presses, Grinders, Riveters, Overhead Hoist, Scales, Tapes, Rulers, Go/No Go Gages and various hand tools
- Follow instructions as outlined in Operation Sheets, Set-Up Sheets and Drawings.
- Jigs & Fixtures, Henrob equipment, Huck equipment, Laser Weld Cell, Drill Presses, Small Presses, Grinders, Squares, Riveters, Protractors, Micrometers, Vernier Calipers, Height Gages, Rules & Wrenches
- Interpret drawings, operation sheets, set-up sheets and relative paperwork
