About The Position

Marvin is hiring Machine Operators to join their wood processing team, where raw lumber is transformed into high-quality components used in windows and doors. In this role, you will operate a combination of advanced robotics, CNC technology, and established wood-processing equipment to produce precision-crafted wood products. Safety, quality, and continuous improvement are central to this role. The first six months include an apprentice-style training program designed to build confidence, develop technical skills, and establish a strong foundation in safe operating practices. A $2,500 sign-on bonus is offered to new team members.

Responsibilities

  • Operate a range of original and advanced wood manufacturing equipment with a strong focus on safety and precision
  • Use high-performance software and tools to set up accurate and efficient machining processes
  • Handle the flow of materials by offloading completed parts to designated locations and inputting wood stock for upcoming production
  • Monitor equipment performance and proactively respond to changes by making necessary adjustments to maintain quality and efficiency
