About The Position

Cenveo, a world leading North American manufacturer of envelopes with over 100 years of experience and approximately 30 billion envelopes manufactured annually, is hiring immediately Machine Packers for its envelope manufacturing facility in Kirksville, MO on 2nd and 3rd shift. The pay rate is $20.49/hr plus shift premiums: $1.25 for 2nd shift and $1.50 for 3rd shift. 2nd shift hours are 3:00 p.m.-11:00 p.m., and 3rd shift hours are 11:00 p.m.-7:00 a.m.

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent.
6 months of relevant work experience in a production environment.
Quality inspection skills and ability to measure/read a ruler.
Basic math skills and the ability to perform in a high volume work environment.
Basic verbal/written communication skills.
Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

Load paper on to automatic hand-fed or web envelope folding machines and pack the finished product in a team environment.
Inspect quality of envelopes, labels cartons, reports variances to key personnel and checks current production orders/schedules to determine daily production requirements.
May be required to do rework on finished product.
Cleans up work area during and at the end of shift.
Other duties as assigned/required.
