About The Position

Ingram Content Group (ICG) is hiring a Machine Operator to contribute to our Operations team in Roseburg, OR. This role is responsible for operating all production equipment, including printers, binders, and cutters, to meet shift production volume, safety, and quality standards. The position involves ensuring timely re-supply of raw materials and notifying leads when equipment is not operating effectively. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented with good verbal communication skills, a high customer satisfaction orientation, and dependable attendance. A mechanical aptitude and computer skills are a plus.

Requirements

• Must be detail oriented; possess good verbal communication skills and a high customer satisfaction orientation.
• Must be able to demonstrate dependable attendance.
• 6 months continuous work experience required
• Ability to walk and stand continuously during the assigned shift
• Ability to lift/carry in full range of motion up to 70lbs during the assigned shift – 30lbs or less continuously, 31-50lbs frequently and 51-70lbs occasionally
• Ability to push/pull in a warehouse environment up to 70lbs force to push during the assigned shift – 1-50lbs continuously and 51-70lbs occasionally
• Ability to grip/grasp continuously during the assigned shift
• Ability to bend, squat/kneel, twist/turn, climb, crawl, reach above shoulder, and type/keyboard frequently during the assigned shift
• Ability to work designated shift including overtime as required, which could include time before or after the designated shift and/or weekends

Nice To Haves

• A mechanical aptitude is a plus.
• Computer skills a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operates all production equipment including but not limited to B/W printers, binders and cutters to achieve shift production volume and meet safety and quality standards as described in the LSI operating manual.
• Executes timely re-supply of raw materials while operating production equipment.
• Notifies lead operator and/or specialist when equipment is not operating effectively.
