About The Position

This position is responsible for operating machinery to ensure the continuous flow of product through the production process and ensuring proper ingredients/supplies are being used on the line. Responsible for monitoring and adjusting machine settings as needed and notifying the supervisor if machines require maintenance while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures.

Requirements

At least 3 months of machine operator experience within the last 6 months listed on the application (can be a combination of employers as long as the experience is at least 3 months).
Ability to read, write and complete necessary paperwork.
Must provide Social Security Number on application.
Must complete the task after submitting the application to provide additional information to be considered for employment.

Responsibilities

Ensuring all production equipment is set up and prepared per production schedule, including labels, batter, stuffing, etc.
Overseeing machine operations and making minor equipment adjustments.
Performing metal detections and other quality and USDA required inspections.
Reading, writing, and completing necessary paperwork.
Performing basic maintenance on machines.
Contacting Maintenance Mechanic if necessary.
Interacting with Line Leads to determine equipment set-up and operation.
Making machine adjustments when production changeovers occur.
Working on the production line and ensuring product standard.
Providing assistance to lower-level team members.
Training new or recently promoted team members.
