About The Position

Amcor is seeking a Machine Operator to inspect and package plastic products of good quality. This role involves operating equipment efficiently and safely, utilizing basic tools, and completing required paperwork accurately. The Machine Operator will ensure the quality of production runs, maintain continuous production and machine efficiency, and contribute to plant cleanliness. Additional duties may be assigned by leadership. Adherence to all Company and Departmental procedures, as well as Safety, Food Safety, GMP, and HACCP practices, is required.

Requirements

• Ability to operate equipment efficiently and safely.
• Ability to safely utilize basic tools.
• Ability to properly read and complete all required paperwork.
• Ability to ensure accuracy and monitor quality of production runs.
• Ability to maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency.
• Ability to maintain plant cleanliness.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and package plastic products of good quality.
• Operate equipment efficiently and safely.
• Safely utilize basic tools before placing boxes on a pallet.
• Properly read and complete all required paperwork.
• Ensure accuracy and monitor quality of production runs.
• Maintain continuous production runs and machine efficiency.
• Maintain plant cleanliness through daily work-area cleaning and proper scrap placement.
• Perform additional job duties as required by leadership efficiently and safely.
• Adhere to all Company and Departmental procedures.
• Follow all Safety, Food Safety, GMP and HACCP practices.
