Machine Operator
About The Position
This position involves loading, unloading, and operating up to 3 CNC Lathes to produce differential gears that meet customer requirements. The operator will use gauges to inspect parts and ensure good quality production, record production numbers into a computer database, and pack out parts according to specifications. Requirements
- GED or High school diploma is required
- Perform mathematical computations
- Use calipers and other basic measuring equipment
- Ability to work effectively with others
- Willingness to work overtime and weekends if required
Responsibilities
- Loads/Unloads up to 3 CNC Lathes
- Performs proper inspection of parts using gauges
- Maintains accurate quality and production information
- Operates machinery and perform insert and tooling changes
- Completes offsets on Machines
