This position is responsible for operating machinery and could include ongoing production flow while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The role involves learning microwave adjustments to achieve target temperatures, tracking meat temperatures, and making necessary adjustments to the microwave. It also requires properly keeping tempered meat separated by pallet, unit, and lot numbers, tracking the amount of meat tempered, and completing downtime sheets. The team member must understand sanitary procedures for using a probe and have an individual responsibility to report all possible deficiencies that could compromise food safety. The position will work in an environment with extreme temperatures ranging from 4F to 12F and requires adherence to all GMP standards and safety guidelines.
