This position is responsible for ensuring all materials are transported and/or unloaded in a timely manner while maintaining a safe work environment and adhering to Tyson policies and procedures. The Fork Lift Driver/Jack Driver in the Shipping Department will load trailers in proper order, use proper code dates when unloading trailers, ensure that product requested is put on trailer when available, and properly store product in receiving cooler. They will maintain clean coolers at all times and report any damage done to trailers, coolers, freezer, forklift or product immediately. They will also ensure that trailer doors are shut and the unit is turned on if the load is not finished at the end of the shift, and ensure that all paperwork is complete, neat and accurate before turning it in. The Jack Driver will be responsible for pulling pallets from the line and putting them in the staging area using a riding jack, and for moving pallets from the staging area to the pallet wrapper and then to the cooler using a riding jack. All other duties as assigned by supervisor or lead.
