Responsibilities

Fabricate seals, gaskets and O-rings.
Responsible for setting up and operating a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
Control and adjust the machine settings to complete routine tasks according to specifications.
Perform duties, such as setting up tools, materials, and supplies for yourself and other workers.
Clean work area, machines, and tools; and assist other team members in performing their tasks.
Accept assignments given by Department Manager and complete work within time frame and with a high degree of quality.
Complete an In Process Inspection at the beginning of each job and have Quality verify the part before cutting the full production run.
Stack and box completed products to minimize damage and ensure easy counting by shipping clerks.
Exercise care in production so as not to damage molds or production equipment.
Maintain a clean, neat and organized workspace practicing the 5s method of organization.
Properly store molds, equipment and scrap upon completion of a job.
Perform light preventative maintenance on the equipment.
Log information on Production ticket and turn in with work.
Ensure completed products are placed in proper area for shipping or placing in inventory.
Make recommendations to management on ways of improving production efficiency.
Communicate effectively with all other departments.
Turn paperwork in accurately and on time.
Assure that all products are produced/manufactured to the highest standard of quality.
Tend and observe equipment and machinery to verify efficient and safe operation.
Follow all company and OSHA safety rules.
