Global customers include Boeing, Airbus, Gulfstream, NASA, Penn and Wilson. Tex Tech Industries is currently looking for a Machine Operator in our Wet Finish Department at our North Monmouth facility on our 2nd shift schedule 3pm to 11 pm, must have the ability to train on our 1st shift.

Requirements

Frequent lifting
Frequent standing and walking for up to 8 hours a day
Twisting, kneeling and bending
Fine motor skills and manual dexterity
Good vision
Ability to distinguish color variations
Ability to train on 1st shift

Nice To Haves

Previous manufacturing experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

Responsible for transporting materials to the dryer.
Making all proper settings (speed, temperature, width, etc.) on dryer.
Maintain close surveillance of material entering dryer to make sure of the proper pin setting.
Take frequent width measurements of material entering and exiting the dryer.
Maintain accurate and neat records of each cut, verify correct manufacturing card for the cut.
Check dryer for mechanical condition periodically during each shift as well as minor maintenance of the dryer (oiling chain, replacing broken pins, etc.)
Keep dryer area clean, neat and orderly.
Must be able to cross-train on other Wet Finish equipment
