About The Position

The work model for the role is Onsite, 2nd Shift. As a global market leader, ABB provides the necessary support for employees to achieve their goals. The role involves executing assigned tasks according to ABB Standard processes and safety guidelines, operating machines as per instructions, performing routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairs, and ensuring the availability of required materials. It also includes performing standard maintenance, troubleshooting issues, maintaining a safe working attitude and environment, and keeping detailed records of machinery activities. The team is described as dynamic, talented, and high performing.

Requirements

Authorized to work in the US legally.
High School Diploma or equivalent required
Strong interpersonal skills.
Excellent communication skills, written and verbal.
Practical experience with applicable software.

Responsibilities

Executes the assigned tasks according to agreed workflows and in accordance with ABB Standard processes and safety guidelines and reports any non-compliance.
Operates machines in accordance with the operating manual, work schedule, and/or production order instructions.
Performs routine machinery set-up, adjustments, and repairs and fits simple replacement parts.
Ensures the availability of required materials to execute the assigned work according to defined workflow.
Ensures regular standard maintenance of the equipment, tool set-up, programming activities, and troubleshoots and reports issues, if any.
Maintains a safe working attitude and environment while performing daily activities.
Maintains detailed records of machinery set-ups, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Keeps track of approved, defective units, and final products
