About The Position

Candidates who have previously worked for Tyson Foods will have a minimum rehire waiting period of 180 days and are limited to 3 times of employment. This position starts at $20.75/hour with overtime required. Hours are from 12:30 PM - 9:00 PM. Requirements

3-Month Operator experience must be listed in job history
Ability to push, pull, and lift up to 45 pounds repeatedly during shift
Some areas must require repetitive lifting up to 75 pounds during Shift
Must stand on hard concrete floors for up to 10 hours per day
Must work in cold/hot temperatures ranging from 40-75 degrees on a routine basis
Must work in wet and/or humid conditions, slippery floors in some areas
Repetitive bending, reaching, squatting, gripping, and pinching, climbing stairs and/or ladders
Use of Personal Protective Equipment
Position will require Lock Out Tag Out certification.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of basic food processing compliance, FDA, USDA, and EPA is preferred.

Responsibilities

Interpret daily production schedule
Operate assigned production equipment per product specifications
Determine equipment adjustments and material requirements
Compile and record production data and reports on volume of production
Prepare equipment for production and test runs
Perform troubleshooting and preventing maintenance
Operate and observe equipment operation to detect work piece defects or equipment malfunction, and measure work piece dimensions to determine accuracy
Ensure work area is clean at all times
Record keeping and attention to detail
Follow department standards
