About The Position
Wearwell is a global industry leader in the anti-fatigue matting market. We have an immediate opening for a Machine Operator in our Injection Molding area. This is a 1st shift position, Monday through Friday, with a starting pay rate of $21.00/hr. The hours are 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Requirements
- Prior experience in manufacturing and/or equivalent education, training, or job-related experience.
- Ability to communicate in English.
- Demonstrate effective team and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced production environment.
- Must be able to stand for full shift (8 to 10 hours).
- Able to lift and/or move 35 lbs. regularly and up to 55 lbs. occasionally.
- Attention to detail and focus on quality.
- Reliable attendance is a must.
Responsibilities
- Remove product off of injection molding conveyor line and box.
- Inspect product for quality defects.
- Perform line changeovers as needed.
- Maintain departmental housekeeping standards in designated work areas.
- React positively to change.
- Able to work overtime as necessary.
- All other duties as requested.
