About The Position
Eaton’s FFD Fluid Filtration Division division is currently seeking a Machine Operator - 3rd Shift at our Williamsport, MD facility! The hourly rate for this position is $19.00 with a $0.50 shift differential per hour. The core 3rd shift hours are 11:00 pm - 7:00 am Monday - Friday. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.
Requirements
- A minimum one (1) year of machine operating experience
- Must have a high school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
- Basic computer and software skills
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a plastics or extrusion operations/manufacturing environment
Responsibilities
- Producing a quality part efficiently
- Start up and operate extrusion equipment safely and properly
- Produce quality parts consistently and efficiently
- Set up jobs utilizing the proper installation of dies, adapters, breaker plates and screen packs
- Take necessary steps to leave extruder and downstream equipment ready for next job
- Clean screw installation
- Complying with all Environment, Health, & Safety (EHS) standards
- Complying with all work and process instructions
- Identifying improvement opportunities
- Utilizing proper Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for each task associated with the job
- Working safely and reporting all near misses, illnesses, and injuries following established procedures.
- Completing any initial or recurring training issued by the site or Eaton
