About The Position
Our Machine Operators are essential to Century Mold’s success by ensuring that our manufacturing processes are consistently executed with the highest regard for quality. As a Machine Operator you will fulfill orders according to job specifications with an eye towards process improvement, quality and meeting or exceeding job productivity and efficiency standards. This person will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance, results-driven environment.
Requirements
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Responsibilities
- Completing all quality checks and paperwork associated with job tasks.
- Reading and following operator instructions and alerts.
- Recording the number of containers made.
- Visually inspecting products for defects and recording both the reasons and amount of defects.
- Keeping work area neat and organized according to 5S program.
- Communicating with incoming and outgoing operators.
- Spraying molds as required.
- Providing relief on other machines as requested.
