About The Position

The Machine Operator plays a critical role in the manufacturing process by efficiently operating and maintaining production machinery to ensure high-quality output. The operator will be responsible for setting up machines, monitoring their performance, and making necessary adjustments to meet production specifications. Ultimately, the Machine Operator contributes directly to the seamless flow of manufacturing operations and the delivery of superior products to customers.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to learn how to perform machine maintenance and repair techniques.
• Ability to use precision measuring instruments such as calipers and micrometers.
• Valid forklift operator certification or ability to obtain one.
• Willing to work nights and/or weekends.
• CNC machine maintenance and quality control skills are applied daily to ensure machines operate efficiently and products meet exact specifications.
• Maintenance and repair skills help the operator quickly address mechanical issues, reducing downtime and maintaining production flow.
• The use of calipers and micrometers is essential for precise measurement and quality assurance, ensuring that parts conform to design tolerances.
• Forklift operation skills enable safe and efficient handling of materials, supporting overall workflow.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC and other production machinery according to established procedures and safety guidelines.
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on machines to ensure optimal functionality and prevent breakdowns.
• Conduct quality control inspections using calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools to verify product specifications.
• Set up machines for production runs, including loading tools and materials as needed.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to troubleshoot issues and improve manufacturing processes.
• Maintain accurate production records and report any deviations or equipment malfunctions promptly.
• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to move raw materials and finished products.
