About The Position

An operator supports operations across a variety of production areas. Operations could include fabrication, machine operation, CNC, maintenance, sandblasting, finishing, paint, welding, material handling, along with shipping and receiving. This role operates production equipment, a strong commitment to safety and quality for our customers, and willingness to cross-train within.

Requirements

Ability to read a TAPE MEASURE, documentation, and attentive to details.
STRONG safety awareness for yourself and others, no exceptions.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED Preferred.
Experience in a heavy machinery environment is a plus!
Ability to safely operate forklifts and/or heavy equipment - Certification is a plus!
Distribution, fabrication, manufacturing, and/or construction experience a plus.

Responsibilities

Operate and support production processes along with following all standardized work equipment.
Perform quality checks and Inspection as needed.
Problem solving, continuous improvement, learning to recognize malfunctions before they malfunction!
Understanding the correct way to handle materials in your specific area. (Fabrication, Finishing, Saw, Blast, Welding, etc.)
Reading a tape measure accurately. Each department and multiple roles must be able to read a measuring tape.
Proper PPE, equipment and product handling, comply with all company policies, and with all OSHA Safety regulations.
Good housekeeping and perform 5S activities.
Perform other assigned duties as deemed necessary or appropriate.
