About The Position

This position is responsible for operating CNC, Laser, Drills, and various other machines. The role requires mechanical inclination and the ability to machine parts to meet production standards. Responsibilities include performing source inspections, daily TPM (Total Productive Maintenance), and adhering to work instructions and standard work. The operator must also complete daily data collection and perform daily 5S activities. Additionally, the role involves using stop the line authority for safety or quality concerns.

Requirements

Must be mechanically inclined.
Must be able to use basic inspection equipment such as calipers, mics, torque wrenches and various gauges and other tools.
Must be able to read blueprints.
Must have good understanding of inventory control.
Must be able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Must have or be able to obtain a fork truck license.
Must recognize the importance of working in a safe manner.
Ability to understand what constitutes quality products.
Possess basic math skills.
Average or above average skills in numeric and visual recall.
Must be computer literate.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand for long periods of time.
Ability to work in sometimes extreme temperatures.
Able to communicate effectively, participate as a member of a team and work well with others to maximize efficiency.
Familiar with company policies and demonstrates knowledge of relevant procedures and importance of producing quality products.
Follows general and equipment specific safety rules. Uses appropriate safety protection equipment and other safety devices.
Positive to change associated with TBS efforts.
