Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED is preferred but not required.
  • Basic communication and math skills generally associated with a high school education.
  • Minimum of one to two years of experience in electronics field, preferred.
  • Have a working knowledge of all necessary tools and equipment.
  • Knowledge of electronics components (types and values), preferred.
  • High energy level, quick learner, and highly flexible.
  • Positive attitude.

  • Knowledge of leaded versus lead free assembly processes

Responsibilities

  • Operate automated insertion equipment for printed circuit board assemblies.
  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs.
  • Run automated insertion and/or pick and place equipment for printed circuit board assemblies under direct supervision and written procedures.
  • Maintain records for all manufactured product.
  • Assist in development and implementation of insertion and/or pick and place procedures.
  • Perform preventative maintenance based on the machine manufacturer’s schedule.
  • Assist in major machine maintenance and repairs.
  • Develop auto insertion and/or pick and place machine programs and edit existing programs as required by ECO changes.
  • Ability to read and work from blue prints, diagrams, schematics and other manufacturing documentation with direct supervision.
  • Ability to float on floor where there is a work need.
  • Follow safety procedures.
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area.
  • Train others as needed.
  • Demonstrate willingness to follow safety procedures.
  • Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
  • Ability to meet short- and long-term deadlines.
