MACHINE OPERATOR - 2nd shift

About The Position

Operate machinery relevant to the production of core components. The Core Machine Operator “C” performs basic operations on the Weld Prep machine and in Core Assembly. The position requires reading and interpreting production work instructions, production orders, Bills of Materials (BOMs), and quality plans; using fixed and variable measurement equipment; and entering and recording data in SAP, Excel, and other software programs. The employee must understand how HYDAC’s Quality Policy and Quality Objectives relate to this position and pass HYDAC Criteria within 90 days. The role reports to a Lead or supervisor and requires adherence to site safety rules and applicable personal protective equipment requirements.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos.
Must be able to read, write, speak, and comprehend English.
Ability to speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations.
Ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner and develop alternate solutions.
Must pass HYDAC Criteria within 90 days.
Must comply with safety rules and PPE requirements, including safety shoes and safety glasses in applicable manufacturing areas.
