About The Position
Hood Container Corporation is a growing leader in the corrugated packaging industry seeking skilled and motivated corrugated professionals with experience in Corrugated Manufacturing. This role offers immediate openings on the 2nd Shift (3:30 pm - 1:00 am) Monday - Thursday, with overtime available on Fridays. The position involves operating and maintaining machinery to produce corrugated boxes, ensuring quality and efficiency, and contributing to process improvements.
Requirements
- At least 6 months of experience operating corrugated industry equipment.
- Strong understanding of equipment operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work.
- Working with a one box set up mindset, to ensure quality expectations are met & minimize waste.
- Collaborate effectively with other team members to achieve production goals.
Responsibilities
- Maintain a safe and clean work environment.
- Set up and operate Corrugated Equipment, Rotary Die Cutter, or Flexo Folder Gluers in the production of corrugated boxes.
- Inspect and monitor production runs, ensuring products meet the highest quality standards.
- Maximize machine uptime and productivity.
- Identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce downtime.
