Join us and let's Imagine a better way together. We are seeking a seasoned machine operator with a strong mechanical aptitude who is eager to transition into the print industry. In this role, you’ll leverage your mechanical troubleshooting skills and attention to detail to master press setup, ink management, and print quality controls. You’ll collaborate closely with production teams and engineers to optimize workflows, ensure safety compliance, and uphold rigorous quality standards. Your open-minded, fast-learning approach will be key as you embrace new technologies and processes unique to print manufacturing.

Requirements

  • At least five years of experience in industrial machine setup, operation, and maintenance
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to interpret technical manuals and blueprints
  • Proven track record as a fast learner who embraces new challenges and adapts quickly to evolving processes
  • Open-minded approach to learning a new industry and adopting best practices
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset to work effectively with diverse teams
  • Commitment to workplace safety, quality standards, and continuous improvement

Nice To Haves

  • Military background or experience working in a disciplined, process-driven environment
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish to support diverse team communication
  • Experience operating additional material-handling equipment
  • Basic understanding of lean manufacturing principles or Six Sigma methodologies

Responsibilities

  • Set up machinery for production runs, including calibration, tooling changes, and safety checks
  • Operate a variety of equipment according to standard operating procedures and quality guidelines
  • Perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and coordinate repairs to minimize downtime
  • Monitor machinery performance, record production data, and report deviations or defects
  • Collaborate with engineers, supervisors, and quality teams to optimize processes and implement improvements
  • Maintain a clean and safe work area, adhering to all health and safety regulations
