About The Position

Safely operate authorized production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines. Adjust machine settings to accurately complete tasks according to specifications and in a timely fashion. Perform manual tasks such as package, crate, label, count, and sort products. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Works under immediate supervision.

Requirements

Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within manufacturing environment.
Ability to understand and follow all company policies and procedures.
Ability to ensure that all guard and safety equipment have been installed and properly checked.
Ability to safely operate assigned machine.
Ability to maintain quality standards on all products.
Ability to communicate clearly with co-workers and supervisors.
Ability to adhere to ISO 9001 Quality, ISO 14001 Environmental, and OSHAS 18001 certification requirements.
Ability to understand and follow all safety policies and procedures.
Ability to understand and follow work procedures as set forth by all ISO documentation.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Ability to check parts dimensionally with calipers and measuring tools.
Ability to maintain a safe working environment.
Ability to lift 50 lbs. in a safe manner.
Ability to perform repetitive motion (walking, reaching, bending, twisting, stooping, pushing, pulling, and standing for extended periods of time).
Clarity of vision and the ability to focus on a fast and repetitious operation for extended periods of time.
Must wear safety-toe shoes.
Must wear hearing protection.
