About The Position

We are searching for a dedicated and reliable Machine Operator to support our company’s warehouse operations in Indianapolis. Primary responsibility will be running one of our machines, such as a slitter, sheeter or cutter. You will receive on the job training. No previous experience is necessary. You will be cross-trained to receive, input, sort, load and unload products and you will perform various warehouse activities. Hours are day shift, Monday - Friday.

Requirements

Must be dependable, hardworking and maintain a positive attitude
Ability to lift or move heavy products
Good attendance record
Ability to handle multiple tasks
High school diploma

Nice To Haves

No previous experience is necessary.
On the job training will be provided.

Responsibilities

Safely operate machinery and ensure machines are set up properly.
Assemble, install, and check product parts, following specifications and using the appropriate tools.
Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to customer specifications.
Perform basic preventive maintenance on production equipment and report any malfunction to the supervisor.
Adhere to all safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment for oneself and fellow employees.
Maintain accurate records of production, including quantity, type, and any notable occurrences during the production process.
Work with other team members to ensure efficient production workflow.
