Requirements

  • Right to work in the U.S. that is not based solely on possession of a student visa or a visa sponsored by a third-party employer
  • Cargill requires employees be a minimum of 18 years old to work in a production facility
  • Must be able to perform physical job duties such as bending, lifting up to 50lbs, kneeling, climbing, crawling, and twisting, with or without reasonable accommodation
  • Ability to work in elevated areas. (4 feet and above)
  • Must be able to read/write English
  • Basic computer skills
  • Ability to work holidays, nights, weekends or different shifts, and overtime
  • Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions which may include heat, cold, dust, loud noise, etc., with the use of personal protective equipment (PPE)

Nice To Haves

  • High School diploma or Equivalent
  • Prior experience in production related work
  • Forklift Certified
  • Must be able to work under special work conditions, such as extreme heat or cold
  • Experience operating forklifts and/or similar equipment
  • Must be able to operate machinery

Responsibilities

  • Operation of packaging equipment
  • Input production data into SAP
  • Monitor bag weights on scale
  • Input production downtime information into SAP
  • Collect samples/Perform quality testing
  • Minor maintenance and troubleshooting of equipment
  • Repalletizing/disposal of distressed product
  • Perform change over tasks
  • Understanding and adhering to all safety rules and regulations
  • Operate forklifts to pull product off packaging lines, keep packaging lines supplied with material, and other daily forklift operations
  • Maintaining a safe and clean work environment
  • Other duties as assigned
