What You’ll Actually Be Doing As a Machine Operator, you’ll be running equipment that turns raw material into real parts used across industries. Some machines move fast. Some require precision. Responsibilities

• Operating machines like mills, presses, saws, or other fabrication equipment
• Reading prints or job specs so parts are produced correctly
• Loading material and positioning parts for machining or processing
• Checking finished parts with measuring tools to make sure quality is right
• Removing burrs or imperfections so parts are ready for the next step
• Making small adjustments to machines to keep production running smoothly
• Performing basic machine care like oiling or tooling adjustments
• Counting, stacking, and preparing finished parts for the next stage
