Requirements

  • Understand and comply with all safety SOPs and work instructions, including Lockout/Tagout, chemical handling, machine guarding, housekeeping, and required PPE.
  • Analyze mechanical or operational issues, determine root causes, and take corrective action to maintain product quality and equipment performance.
  • Perform equipment changeovers or conversions by setting up assigned machinery for changes in material, size, or product.
  • Check, test, and measure product to ensure it meets all quality specifications, and inspect for visual defects.
  • Operate, repair, clean, and lubricate equipment as needed to maintain continuous production.
  • Examine, test, and measure product from assigned equipment using appropriate gauges and instruments, and record all required data.
  • Conduct preventive maintenance inspections on assigned equipment, report findings, and take appropriate corrective action.
  • Complete maintenance work orders as required.
  • Notify the supervisor of recurring equipment malfunctions, corrective actions taken, and any defective product resulting from equipment issues.
  • Attend all job‑related training as required by supervision.
  • Follow all established standard operating procedures.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties as necessary.
