About The Position

Conagra Brands is hiring for a Machine Operator to help produce biscuits and hotcakes at their Louisville, KY facility. This role is for the second shift (2p-10p) and reports to the department Team Lead. The position is located onsite at the Louisville, KY plant. Overtime is scheduled as needed, including daily and weekend work. The hourly rate is $23.45 with an additional $0.75 shift differential.

Requirements

1+ years of experience
Knowledge of GMPs and safety
The ability to understand the basic machine operations and settings
Physical ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally, and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Physical ability to push or pull objects up to 10 pounds frequently.

Responsibilities

Operate all the different machines and equipment, prioritizing safety.
Complete quality checks and documentation, observing standard work.
Operate equipment within Quality expectations, including code dates, packaging materials, product standards, and metal detector checks.
Work with Quality, Production Supervisors and Coordinators to support production demand and maintain product quality standards.
Read and interpret documents, including safety rules, operating instructions, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ensure compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) Requirements & Conagra's policies.
Be aware of food safety risks and escalate found risks to lead/supervisor.
Perform all assigned cleaning and preventative maintenance responsibilities.
